"You miss 100% of the shots you never take" -Wayne Gretzky
Ever since I was little I have played sports. From soccer to hockey to football I have always been an athlete. However my favorite sport has always been hockey and it still is. Hockey has helped me become the man I am today.
When I was 16 years old I was recruited to play for a Tier III Junior A team called the Bozeman Icedogs in the NPHL in Bozeman, Montana. I had a great first year in Juniors meeting the brothers I played and bonded with.
It was an amazing experience and I played 2 more years of Juniors.
My second year I was still with the Icedogs, however we were now in the AWHL.
My last year I decided I wanted some change and wanted an opportunity to be watched by college scouts so I went to the EJSHL to play for the Fort Myers Eels.
During my last year I realized that many of my buddies that went to play college previously have now quit and started focusing on their school work. So I decided to do the same early and said that this was my last year to play hockey seriously and I decided to focus on getting my Engineering degree.
Presently, when I am not busy on the weekends, I like to go play pick-up hockey with my local buddies.
